Designation: Manager - Quality
Job Description:
The position description is a guide to the critical duties and
essential functions of the job, not an all-inclusive list of
responsibilities, qualifications, physical demands and work environment
conditions. Position descriptions are reviewed and revised to meet the
changing needs of the company at the sole discretion of management.
� Lead a team of QC Analysts for the analysis of production in all
streams to assess Quality of the same by applying standard quality and
audit principles.
� Assist in the assurance of quality of production to be compliant
with the goals set by the Operations Hub for all streams respectively.
� Prepare an analysis to classify the errors into categories for
operations to understand and resolve the error categories.
� Suggest and assist in the understanding of root causes for the errors / error categories.
� Suggest and assist in the implementation of counter-measures to minimize errors.
� Create quality circles within the Operations teams for the improvement of the deliverables on a go-forward basis.
� Lead the effort to impart training of Operators / Analysts on principles of quality and quality management systems.
� Assist in the implementation of quality certifications for the operations as deemed necessary.
� To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line
manager / director on a permanent or temporary basis.
Desired Profile: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelors Degree (preferably in Engineering) with certification in Statistics / Quality.
Required Skills:
� Comprehensive knowledge of quality including but not limited to
Quality Audit and Control, Quality management Systems including
Six-Sigma and Total Quality Management.
� Experience in implementing quality management systems a must.
� Good interpersonal skills and a good team player with the ability to work on own initiative
� Ability to deal with complex and demanding issues
DESIRED Skills (NICE TO HAVE IN ADDITION TO THE REQUIRED SKILL SETS):
� Certification as a black-belt / Green belt on quality.
