Job Description:
Deltek System Administrator
will have primary responsibility for the Installation, maintenance,
support, and ongoing enhancement of Deltek application. This includes,
but is not limited to:
* Application troubleshooting
* Data integrity
* End user application support
* Implementation and integration activities
* Liaison with third-party vendors
* Policy, process, and procedure development
* Report development
* Routine administration and maintenance activities such as installation of service packs and patches
* Upgrades
This position will also be responsible for the maintenance and support of Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Other
responsibilities will include but not be limited to; end user support
on an as needed basis. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 *expert* (position) *
This position will be responsible for being the main point of contact
for any issues users have with NAV. So they need to have very good
interpersonal skills and be comfortable dealing with users who won*t
necessarily be in the best mood since they*ll be unhappy they*re having
issues.
* Candidates must also be VERY technically strong so they can determine the root cause of issues and resolve them.
*
Candidates will also be expected to talk to users/management using NAV
about how they use it and determine what enhancements need to be
implemented (and then perform the implementation of those
enhancements). Candidates must also give advice on how the system can
better be used if there is a better way to do things than what is
currently being done. Candidates must also determine solutions to help
users clean up workarounds they are currently using.
* Candidates will also be asked to provide feedback on how business processes could be improved.
*
So * bottom line is they need a *people person* who is very technical,
who can listen to challenges users are having and determine solutions
to resolve those challenges. And then handle making technical changes
to support the resolution of those challenges. This person will not
just be a person who determines a solution and manages others to
implement it * they will also handle that implementation.
* Ideally they would like someone who has done this type of work in another organization.
* This position will be on-site 100% of the time.
