Role- Team Leader
Introduction:
-To lead a team in Drug Safety offering Pharmacovigilance services to Clients
delivering a high quality data in stipulated timelines.
Job Responsibilities.
-Overall in-charge of day-to-day activities for sub-process in
Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety
-Provide technical expertise to Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety team
-Direct reports development in identifying training needs
-Address Performance Improvement Plans
-Oversight of direct reports activities
-Manage and coordinate across Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety sub-processes
(Client specific)
-Provide regular status reports on budget recognition of projects to Project
Managers
-Ensure compliance to SOPs
-Perform tasks/activities as communicated by the Project Manager.
-Documentation of all project related activities
-Assist in developing and implementing new techniques in Pharmacovigilance/Drug
Safety activities
-Develops strategies in co-ordination with Team leads and Project Managers so
as to meet quality requirements efficiently and meet timelines set by the
client.
Provide training in:
•The operational techniques and activities undertaken within the
Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety Unit
•Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety SOPs and other standards
-Undertake training related to a project to Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety team
members.
-Escalation of identified unresolved issues to project manager on time
-Ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints and as per agreed
timelines
-Ensure adequate resource of the project throughout its lifecycle
-Participate in recruitment and selection of team members
-Conduct regular team meetings
-Interactions and telecons - Coordinate and communicate effectively with
primary contacts at Client teams to ensure satisfactory progress of project
work and timely resolution of issues
-Monitor and track SLAs /Metrics on a project basis.
-Ensure appropriate distribution of work among direct reports
-Leave Management

Note:
Should have 15 years of Regular Education
Break in career and education for more then 2 years is not eligible
Candidates who have attended the selection process in the last 6 months (either
selected-not-joined or rejected) will not be eligible.
Education and Experience:
-Graduate or Postgraduate in Life Sciences or Clinical/Medical degree with 3-6
years relevant experience
-Minimum 3 years experience with 2+ years in Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety with
at least 6 months in leading a large team / Team Leads
-Solid experience and understanding of ICH GCP principles, clinical drug
development process, organizational, strategic, communication and
inter-personnel skills
