Job Description- Write testing procedures in the English language that describe detailed white box and black box tests for various software products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Execute testing procedures written by yourself and others.
- Correct minor defects in tested programs and report more serious defects to the development team for reworking.
- Properly record the results of your tests.
- Take formal responsibility for ensuring that software products are adequately tested before installation.
- Work closely with the Development Team in reviewing product requirements and design.
Desired Profile- A strong sense of responsibility and an understanding of engineering ethics;
- A degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- Familiarity with C++, Java and SQL;
- Ability to write testing procedures and associated technical documentation in English;
- In-depth knowledge of system testing techniques;
- Strong investigative and problem solving skills.
Selected applicants will be invited to undertake a two-phase selection process. In the first phase, we will email you a short specification and a program that theoretically conforms to the specification. You will have to write some testing procedures, test the program and send us your testing procedures and results.
The second phase will be similar to the first phase, but will be conducted in examination conditions under the supervision of E-Genting.
