Job Description Selection Methodology:
1. Written test at major centres followed by Group discussion & Interview .
2. Medical fitness.
Training period & pedagogy:
1. One year training with a substantial period allocated to 'On the Job Training' (OJT) in different departments and at sites located all over the country. Classroom training at our 'Wrtsil Land and Sea Academy' located at Khopoli (Maharashtra). Specific Projects would be undertaken and completed by the trainee during the OJT.
Quarterly performance evaluation as a part of performance management system.
2. Final Interview at the end of 4 th quarter.
3. Mentoring forms integral part of training pedagogy.
4. Absorption in the company's services would be primarily dependent on individual's performance and availability of vacancy.
General Information:1. Trainee shall make their own arrangement for accommodation at their location of posting during the entire training period.
2. Stipend:
Diploma Engineers Rs.8000/- per month in the first 6 months & Rs.10000/- in the remaining 6 months

2. Should have passed final examination in year 2006 or would be appearing or have appeared for final examination in year 2007.
3. Candidates who have passed in year 2006 should have obtained first class (above 60%) marks in the final year examination (both semesters).
4. Candidates who have appeared or would be appearing in year 2007 should have obtained first class (above 60%) marks in the immediate previous examination (both semesters).
